2. Information We Collect

Account information: your name, username, email address and authentication data when you register.

Profile and social data: public handles, profile URLs and verification codes you add when connecting Instagram, YouTube, TikTok or X accounts. If you authorize TikTok view tracking, we store authorization tokens securely on our servers; they are never exposed to your browser.

Submission and tracking data: clip URLs you submit, moderation status, public view counts and timestamped view snapshots.

Financial data: earnings, wallet balances, transactions, referral activity and the payout details you provide (for example a PayPal email or crypto address).

Usage and technical data: basic log and device information used to secure and operate the platform.

3. What We Never Collect

We never ask for your social media passwords. Social verification uses public profile data and verification codes, or official authorization flows — never your password.

4. How We Use Information

To operate creator accounts, campaigns, submissions, view tracking, earnings calculations and payouts.

To verify social account ownership and prevent fraud, duplicate accounts, fake views and referral abuse.

To communicate important account, campaign and payment updates.

To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.

5. Third-Party Platforms

View tracking uses official platform APIs where available (for example the YouTube Data API and the TikTok Display API). Where an official API cannot reliably provide data, tracking is shown as unavailable — we do not fabricate view counts.

Content you post on third-party platforms is also governed by those platforms' own terms and privacy policies.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with the service providers needed to operate GenzClips (such as hosting, database and payment infrastructure) and when required by law.

7. Data Retention and Security

We retain account, submission and financial records for as long as needed to operate the platform and meet legal obligations. Access to sensitive data is restricted, and credentials and authorization tokens are stored server-side with appropriate safeguards.

No system is perfectly secure, but we apply industry-standard measures including access controls and row-level data isolation.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You can update your profile information in your account settings and disconnect connected social accounts at any time.

You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Some records (such as completed payment history) may need to be retained for legal or accounting reasons.
